Seller Payout Policy

Khello facilitates payments between buyers and sellers. Payments collected from buyers are held temporarily until the order is confirmed as successfully delivered.

This policy ensures transparency and protects both buyers and sellers.

When a buyer completes a purchase:

• Payment is collected through a secure third-party payment gateway.
• Funds are temporarily held in Khello’s payment processing system until order completion.

Khello does not store full card details.

Seller payouts are initiated when:

• The order is marked as delivered by the shipping provider, AND
• The return window (if applicable) has expired, OR
• The buyer confirms successful delivery.

Typical payout trigger time: 3–7 business days after delivery confirmation.

Once the payout is triggered:

• Payments are transferred to the seller’s registered bank account or payout method.
• Processing time may take 2–5 business days depending on the payment provider and bank processing times.

To receive payouts, sellers may be required to complete identity verification, including:

• Government-issued identification
• Bank account verification
• Tax information where required by law

Khello may delay payouts until verification is completed.

Before payout, the following may be deducted:

• Platform commission
• Payment gateway fees
• Logistics fees (if applicable)
• Refund adjustments
• Chargebacks

All deductions will be reflected in the seller dashboard.

Khello reserves the right to temporarily hold payouts if:

• A buyer dispute is raised
• Fraudulent activity is suspected
• A regulatory or legal investigation is underway

If a buyer initiates a payment chargeback, the disputed amount may be deducted from the seller’s pending or future payouts.

All payouts are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.

Khello reserves the right to update this payout policy with prior notice to sellers.
