Condition Grading Guide

This guide helps sellers accurately describe the condition of pre-owned baby and children's products. Accurate condition descriptions help buyers make informed purchasing decisions.

1. New

Item is unused and in original packaging.

Examples:

  • Unopened toys
  • Unused clothing with tags
  • Brand new baby gear

2. Like New

Item has been used minimally and shows little to no signs of wear.

Examples:

  • Baby carrier used once
  • Toys opened but unused
  • Clothing worn once or twice

3. Excellent

Item shows light use but remains in excellent working condition.

Examples:

  • Minor cosmetic wear
  • Fully functional with no structural damage

4. Good

Item shows visible signs of use but remains functional.

Examples:

  • Minor scratches
  • Light wear on fabrics
  • Slight fading

5. Fair

Item shows clear wear and tear but remains usable.

Examples:

  • Multiple cosmetic flaws
  • Moderate wear

Safety-critical items in this condition may be restricted.

6. Poor

Item is heavily used or partially damaged.

These items may not be permitted if they pose safety concerns.

7. Safety Disclosure

Sellers must disclose:

  • Missing parts
  • Repairs
  • Modifications
  • Known defects

Failure to disclose defects may result in listing removal or account suspension.
