Seller Onboarding Rules

This Seller Onboarding Guide outlines the requirements and expectations for individuals or businesses wishing to sell products on the Khello marketplace.

Our goal is to maintain a safe, trustworthy, and transparent marketplace for parents and families.

1. Eligibility to Sell

To sell on Khello, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate contact details
  • Have legal rights to sell the items listed
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations

By registering as a seller, you agree to comply with the Khello Terms, Seller Agreement, and all platform policies.

2. Product Listing Requirements

When listing products on the platform, sellers must provide:

  • Clear product title
  • Accurate product description
  • Correct product condition (New or Used)
  • Clear photos of the actual item
  • Honest disclosure of defects or damage

Listings that contain misleading information may be removed.

3. Acceptable Product Categories

Products that may be sold on Khello include:

  • Baby clothing
  • Children’s clothing
  • Toys and educational products
  • Nursery items
  • Baby gear and accessories
  • Books and learning materials
  • Maternity items

Khello may expand or restrict categories at its discretion.

4. Prohibited Listings

Sellers may not list:

  • Unsafe baby equipment
  • Recalled products
  • Expired food or medicine
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Illegal products
  • Hazardous materials

Listings violating these rules may be removed immediately.

5. Product Images

Images must:

  • Show the actual product
  • Clearly reflect the condition of the item
  • Not use misleading stock images when selling used items

Photos should include multiple angles where possible.

6. Pricing Guidelines

Sellers may set their own prices but must avoid:

  • Misleading price representations
  • Hidden charges
  • Artificial price inflation

All prices should be clearly stated before checkout.

7. Shipping Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Shipping items within the stated timeframe
  • Packaging items safely
  • Providing tracking details where available

Failure to ship orders promptly may result in penalties or account restrictions.

8. Seller Conduct

Sellers must not:

  • Misrepresent product condition
  • Manipulate reviews or ratings
  • Conduct transactions outside the Khello platform
  • Engage in fraudulent activity

Violations may result in account suspension.

9. Listing Moderation

Khello may review listings and remove content that violates platform policies. Repeated violations may lead to seller account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
